I knew Bible stories quite well, I think. There were many stories I already knew, but they felt new, interesting, and detailed. Also I learned names that I had never heard of or how they related to the story, especially like Barzillai or Shimei. Listening to Mrs. Johnson's experiences was interesting and taught me lots of things too.

I learned about Bible characters like Samuel, Saul, David...etc. I learned about bad behaviors of Saul and benefit of David. I decided to live like David, who was wise, obedient, and a good leader. I learned there are no fortuitous to God. He always makes a plan for us, and it is observed. Our Bible class was so good and learnful to us

I've learned about David's life when he was young, even younger than I am now, he had a strong faith. I want that. I want to have a faith even stronger than his. I just want to rely on God forever. Every single time I'll pray, even when I am sad or happy like David. I'll try hard not to sin, but if I do I will repent immediately.

I didn't pray to God as diligently as I was supposed to. When it came time to apply for college I was scared and terrified. I started the application process late and even then didn't put all my effort into it. I turned in all of my documents on the very last day they would be accepted (Dec. 15). I couldn't do anything but wait. I was stressed out by the anxiety. Finally, I thought of the Lord. I asked him for his guidance. I prayed seriously, day and night. It turns out that God heard my prayer. I was answered by the acceptance letter to UT Austin. The most important thing people tend to forget is when their situation prospers they forget to pray and ask for the Lord's presence and guidance. One great thing about the Lord is that no matter how egregious we are, through Jesus Christ, we will be forgiven and beloved with God's grace.

This is my first Bible class. I learn lots of things about God. We have to trust God. God is true. The Bible helps us learn more about God. The history of Israel, Samuel, David...etc. God is always watching us and help us. We should pray every day. Bible class is the best class to learn more about God.

Throughout this school year, I have learned a lot of things academically and spiritually. I started to know God about ten months ago. Since I have known and learned about him, I've felt my life is changing completely. The place that I go everyday to learn about Him is my Bible class with Mrs. Johnson. My life is brightened by His words. Bible is "His" words...where I can find righteousness, direction, peace, rest, and etc. With those life lessons in it, I learn to make myself better, to complete me. He and the Bible are all I need to live life as a good person. Through Bible class, I know more about Him, His love, and His actions for His people. I've learned to love Him and believe Him more and more every day. When I pray I feel more comfortable and peaceful because I know He will save me from my sins. He gives me wings that I can fly with to be with him in heaven. In general, I think I've entered a new, better, and different world since I came to know Him. I'm blessed and thankful to have Him in my life. He has done greater things for everybody and I believe He has a great plan for me too. I hope I can get to know Him more, and be closer to Him. I want Him to be my best friend. I feel great to be here and I know it was a right decision to come.

When I first got here I knew about God and how man was created. I also knew about Adam and Eve, but as these 6 months progress I've learned more. I learned about how Jesus came to be and what line of family was Jesus from. Around Easter time I learned more about things, such as one of the disciples betrayed him, someone helped him with the cross, and what was the meaning of Easter. I learned that men are inherently evil. We like what the flesh wants and not what God wants. I realized that we can't be perfect, not even David (the man after God's own heart) was perfect. At least God knows that a true Christian tries.
I've learned that decision making is way more important now, because I need to listen to God. Sometimes we might stray from God, but God will always forgive us and take us back. God has done so many miracles for me. It is a blessing for me to come to this school. I wish I had more time here. Thank you Lord.
