The Global Vision Christian School in South Korea is seeking English speaking high school teachers in Math, English, Science and Social Studies for the 2011/2012 school year, at two of their campuses located in Eumseong and Moonkyung.

GVCS is a private, Christian school. The school offers a solid college preparatory program within a Christian environment. The academic program provides a blend of the traditional Korean education with a United States-based curriculum. Although many of the junior high classes are taught by bilingual teachers who use more Korean, higher-level classes are taught in English. Graduates of GVCS are prepared to attend colleges or universities in Korea or in English-speaking countries. A large number of GVCS graduates have gone on to attend U.S. colleges or universities.

FAQ's

• You do not need to speak Korean in order to qualify, as these positions are for English speaking teachers.
• Salary is commensorate to degree and qualifications, but generally the total salary is 2,500,00 won per month. (as of 05/11/11 the wan to USD exchange rate is 1 WAN to 0.009 USD so this would exchange to $2,323.42 per month) There are many other benefits as well.
• 1 or 2 school year contracts are available (10 months per school year)
