Throughout this school
year, I have learned a lot of things academically and spiritually.
I started to know God about ten months ago.
Since I have known and learned about him, I’ve felt my life is changing
completely. The place that I go everyday
to learn about Him
is my Bible class with Mrs.
Johnson. My life is brightened by
His words. Bible is “His”
words…where I can find righteousness, direction, peace, rest, and etc.
With those life lessons in it, I learn to make myself better, to complete
me. He and the Bible are all I need
to live life as a good person.
Through Bible class, I know more about Him, His love, and His actions for His
people. I’ve learned to love Him and
believe Him more and more every day.
When I pray I feel more comfortable and peaceful because I know He will save me
from my sins. He gives me wings that
I can fly with to be with him in heaven.
In general, I think I’ve entered a new, better, and different world since
I came to know Him. I’m blessed and
thankful to have Him in my life. He
has done greater things for everybody and I believe He has a great plan for me
too. I hope I can get to know Him
more, and be closer to Him. I want
Him to be my best friend. I feel
great to be here and I know it was a right decision to come.

Over this
year, David’s story is my favorite one.
David is the man after God’s own heart, but even though he was a king he
still had a rebellion sexually. That
means only God is the most perfect King of Kings.
Humans always have sins, no matter how good they are.
They are still sinful and in need of God’s grace.
In other areas, although David had wisdom, common sense, and intellect,
He cannot compare with God, and with what God says and teaches us in the Bible.
David can judge the people and make laws for the people, but he cannot
make people believe in God. Through
this story, God teaches me a lot about life around me.
Although I see lots of sins and bad things, I know I want to be cleaned
by God.

This is the
first time I learned Bible as a subject in school.
I heard a lot of stories about God.
I learned a lot of wonderful and good things.
I can open my mind, heal my heart, and feel the quietness when I heard
and studied the lessons from God.

After this
year, I’ve learned many lessons from
the Bible. I learned how to live,
how to have hope and trust… I’ve
learned many great songs. I love
many songs about God.

This year I
have learned a lot about God through God’s words “Bible”.
In the past many things were unclear to me such as: nature, hell, and
heaven. But now everything is more
clear. Using my knowledge to say
about him, I would say, “He is as the sun; its light, its temperature makes the
earth warm and the human spirit lighter”.
