I knew Bible stories quite well, I think.  There were many stories I already knew, but they felt new, interesting, and detailed.  Also I learned names that I had never heard of or how they related to the story, especially like Barzillai or Shimei.  Listening to Mrs. Johnson’s experiences was interesting and taught me lots of things too.

I learned about Bible characters like Samuel, Saul, David…etc.  I learned about bad behaviors of Saul and benefit of David.  I decided to live like David, who was wise, obedient, and a good leader.  I learned there are no fortuitous to God.  He always makes a plan for us, and it is observed.  Our Bible class was so good and learnful to us

I’ve learned about David’s life when he was young, even younger than I am now, he had a strong faith.  I want that.  I want to have a faith even stronger than his.  I just want to rely on God forever.  Every single time I’ll pray, even when I am sad or happy like David.  I’ll try hard not to sin, but if I do I will repent immediately.

I learned that by punishment we learn.  As new students came, classes got a little noisier.  But, I noticed that the old students were doing good in class.  The new students were talking in class and playing around, but as you corrected them, we, the old and new students could become better people.  Like David, who learned from his mistakes, we could learn from our mistakes by your correction.

In the Bible class I think I learned about the Bible stories more specifically.  Actually I didn’t know when was the start of the Earth or what places they had battles.  In this Bible class, I could listen to many interesting stories with Mrs. Johnson’s spectacular life stories.  I could be reminded of the knowledge I already had since I was young.  Especially David’s story showed me more about him besides just Goliath.  I am excited to see what we will study next year.

Even though I already knew David’s story, it was a good review to my mind.  Also, the Christmas program helped me to gain courage because I’ve never been to a tv station before.  This Bible class helped me to be closer to God and know God more.  I have learned to love my friends and how important friends are (from all around the world) I learned and felt God’s love for me and his gratefulness by sending me to this school.  Praise the Lord.  Thank you for being such an awesome teacher, Mrs. Johnson

Bible class is good because I can learning Bible.  I realized the Bible is Israel’s history.  So good.

I learned about more specifically  what God has done in the Bible.  I have learned about Bible before, but maybe not rightly.  I learned specifically about each person who wrote the Bible and the place and the time it was written.  Before I knew that, the stories were kind of not that fun except for the miracles.  However, since I learned the time, place, and more things, the Bible stories are fun and interesting and make me want to keep reading.

I learned the history of the Hebrews and the kings of Israel and what God gave us and how God saved his people and how he is great and the goodness of Mrs. Johnson.

This year went by very fast.  Too fast, but I learned a lot of things throughout this year.  Not only I learned from text books, but also I’ve learned and felt deeply throughout Mrs. Johnson’s testimonies.  I am very thankful and glad that I have bible class first period.  God must always be in the first.

I learned about Bible history and stories about David.  I didn’t know all of the things David did until this year.  Now I pretty much know what David did for God.  I am so proud of David and I want to be like him, a man after God’s own heart.  For example: I will pray every time and any time and any where.  I am really thankful to Mrs. Johnson that she taught us about David.

I have learned about the Old Testament, especially the first five books in detail.  I also memorized many good verses and it helps me to remember.

Even a great person like David sins because he is a human being.  Only through Jesus  Christ can we stay clean,  we can’t be pure on our own.

I thought Bible was a very good class because Mrs. Johnson teaches good so you can actually understand and learn something.  The class itself was very memorable to me.  I think I learned a lot very quickly.
